restoring DIGnity
through household goods
DIG Furniture Bank restores dignity and promotes stability by redirecting gently used furniture and household items to local families in need at no cost.
We envision a community where everybody has enough: enough to create a home, build a future, and thrive with dignity. We believe that a furnished home lays the foundation for stability, confidence, and lasting change.
let’s “DIG” in…
-
We provide free, gently used furniture to individuals and families in need through referrals from partner agencies.
-
We accept donations of clean, working, gently used furniture and household items to help furnish homes for neighbors in need.
-
Your financial support helps us deliver furniture, expand our services, and bring comfort to more families.
-
Join our community of volunteers to help clean, sort, deliver, or organize furniture for local families.
-
DIG partners with social service agencies to provide furniture for clients transitioning into stable housing.

how we work:
At DIG, we believe that furniture is a vital piece of housing stability, and that everyone deserves a furnished, stable home. We collect gently used, dignified furniture from our generous community and give it - free of charge - to individuals and families in need.
Here’s how it works:
You donate. We accept quality furniture and household items you no longer need.
We prepare. Our team cleans, sorts, and organizes every item to make it feel like new.
Families shop. Through referrals from partner agencies, neighbors in need “shop” our showroom and choose furniture that fits their style and space.
Homes are transformed. We deliver everything directly to clients - beds, tables, dressers, and more - for free so families can focus on building stability and moving forward.
Whether you’re giving help or getting help, you’re part of the story. And we’re so glad you’re here.

mother’s day
at DIG
This Mother’s Day, we invite you to honor the heart of home.
At DIG, we meet families every day who are working hard to create safe, stable homes, but when a new baby is on the way, many parents don’t have what they need to bring them home safely.
Used baby items can’t always be accepted due to safety standards, leaving a real gap during one of life’s most important moments.
That’s why we’re launching something new.
Through Mother’s Day, we’re introducing Bringing Baby Home: a new program concept designed to ensure every family has safe, reliable essentials to welcome their baby with dignity and care. But we need your help to make it a reality.
We're seeking gifts now through May 15 to reach a startup goal of $10,000 from our community.
thank you to our 2025 foundation & corporate donors
